Rural Water District #5 is upgrading our system with a new SCADA and telemetry network designed and installed by D6 Labs. This project is fully funded through a forgivable DWSRF grant and represents a major step forward in modernizing how we monitor and protect our water infrastructure.

As part of this upgrade, D6 Labs is installing leak detection stations across the district. These stations continuously monitor flow and pressure, allowing our operators to identify leaks, line breaks, and abnormal usage patterns much faster than traditional methods. Real‑time alerts will help reduce water loss, improve response times, and enhance overall system reliability.

The SCADA system will also provide remote visibility into tanks, pumps, wells, and pressure zones, giving our team accurate, up‑to‑the‑minute data to support daily operations and emergency response.
